My images are some 2050*1500 or sumthing like that and I cant fit them to a 1024*1024 for posting, also I cant make them small enough(file size) to post without making them appear in 16colour or there abouts.
any ideas?
photos were taken with 3.2mp digital camera

1. Save them in the JPEG format so that they are compressed down in file size.
Also be sure they have a .jpg file extension (Not .JPG -- this site won't display them correctly)

2. "Resize" the photos. I would suggest for web sites:
- 360x480 for small pictures, or pics with little detail
- 480x640 for most pics
- 640x480 for important pictures with many small details

Use your photo software that came with the camera to Resize the pictures. If the software has a quality/compression setting, 76% makes very good photos.
