Is there a difference between an a12a a14, and an a15 oil sump?

A15 is different to accommodate the crank rotation...has notches on the side

they are not the same,
same bolt pattern but an A15 needs more clearance for the internals. Not sure about A14 though.

Shut up flanders whalebone is right, ribs in sides for crank. A14 sump will hit with an a15 crank.

But you can use an A12 or 14 sump on a 15
I have Mine didn't need any clearance... lucky I guess Maybe my modified rods are the reason Anyway... minor thumpy thumpy and your all good You can view topic.
