hi recently I bought a new t25 turbo off ebay the turbo is distributed here under the name of VOXX TURBOCHARGERS after a lot of enquires I finally got onto voxx and they rang me and told me that the turbo did not have a carbon seal but they could make one and fit for around $550! they asked why I wanted a carbon seal i told them that I was going to use a suck through system and had been told I needed carbon seal to stop oil leeking back damaging the engine with the price of the turbo $480 + $550 for the seal=$1030looks like I will be going fuel injection or have a holly converted to take top hat system.
who said .... life wasn,t ment to be easy? I can see this being along proccess oh well more research and back to the drawing board

from what i can gather thier t25 turbo is based on the garret turbos the kit you listed is cheap enough !
not knowing a lot about turbos but they are only held togeather with set screws and bolts i have dismantled a lot of things in my time and rebuilt them and never had any trouble so maybe i shoud get the garret kit dismantle my new turbo and have a go at it it can,t be rocket science....yes-no?????? thanks for the help.
