I'm OK with the drag car. I think it looks cool. I would personally never have a stock 1200 as a daily driver. Modified is the way to go. Faster is the way to go.
I have never once though I ruined my car.
But I feel for those who have lost a car that they really enjoyed.

Saddest thing Ive seen is 1990s Nissan Pulsar & other economy Nissan cars with build quality that can only be found in poorer countries with forced labour. Not just the build quality but the designs are so far away from practical or good in any way for assembly, you wonder how they did such a bad job for them to stay together.

I feel for those who loved a 1200 or other, all that attention to their dream - only to end up wrecked.

Just think of it in another way for example that you had that affair with them when they were at their best, much like the old girlfriend that sports more than a set of tyres around her waist.

This brought a tear to my eye today, a 1972 sedan -- especially the engine ...

No not Webers, Japanese Mikuni Solex's, Early Enkei Compe 8 rims without the extra ridges on the spokes but the car is in Japan it says Sunny on the rear quarter panel and likely one of the Northern Islands that salt the roads going on the rust, Never the less what a waste.
