I have found myself a e15 dizzy. Numbers on it are... D4p80-08

It has an ignition module in it? Can I pulp that out to fit the mitsi cas? Or is the ignition module important for another function of the dizzy?

There is no ignition module in it. Only a rotor and the CAS.

You can presumably retrofit the 4G1 Orion CAS into an E-series distributor.

The CAS in the D4P is apparently the type used by some Mitsubishi V6 engine.

The Sirius CAS seems to be the same type. Possibly you could just swap the disc from the Hyundai into the D4P unit. See mitsi J918

That depends on if you wanted a CAS or not.

That is a D4R, the best electronic ignition distributor. The CAS type is D4P which has no ignition unit in the distributor.
