Yeah the Megasquirt 3 is very capable. This is the Microsquirt V3, is basically a Megasquirt 2 without the built in MAP sensor etc.
The prebuilt Megasquirt3 is a lot more $$ than the Microsquirt.

The Microsquirt will still do the job well. even if someone wants to go to a new 4 injector manifold later. You can run it semi sequential using one injector diver for 2 cyl and the other for the other two. It can also be configured to run 4 ignition coils. It may not be as refined as other ecu's but it wont limit power potential.

The MSII's quite capable of running my ITB A15 with the EDIS4. It will be more than capable of running a CPI turbo engine.

Does Microsquirt V2 support Autotune?

Microsquirt V3 does, as it is MegaSquirt V3 in a small package. This is the problem with MegaSquirt - the confusing product varieties is very confusing. The user written documentation often doesn't specify.

I typed the question into Google "Does Microsquirt V2 support Autotune?" But i still don't know.

But it doesn't matter. Sikyne is putting together a formula, a blueprint, so a single tuning file will work. Once he gets it tuned, I assume he will share it with us.

You can download the tuning software for free http://tunerstudio.com/index.php/tuner-studio, you need the license if you want the autotune functionality.

My version of TunerStudio doesn't seem to indicate clearly that microsquirt V3 is supported but if MSII is and it's the same processor I can't see the issue.

If you already have a basic MAP you probably won't need the autotune, but, it's not that expensive anyway.

I'm not sure about auto tune, but it does seem to have a closed loop auto trim feature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_gqFMJ68wc

For any of this it will need to have an EGO sensor fitted and wired
(more time and money). I still want to keep it under $1200.

I'll know a lot more in a couple of weeks when I get it going.

Shame he's only got a microsquirt there stu. I'm sure you'd be just as satisfied with that in your hands
