That would be great Lamby. See how you go.

Matto, I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking about the distributor fitting both engines or if the EFI/turbo Kit will fit an E15?

great thread, i suddenly find myself checking datsun1200.com regularly again!

Sikyne, have you thought about doing NA first as a stage on the way to turbo/efi? I could see a kit like you are suggesting being more popular for just NA and it would be great to have a tune map to suit just that if people dont want to go to the extent of the turbo

I find myself tempted to ask for just an NA kit for the mustard coupe

Great idea! Someone else here is doing the same thing. I'm happy to make the kits NA. And if there is interest, I'll tune it up without the turbo first to get a start file to send out. Going NA, the tune will be sensitive to what sort of exhaust is on the car. The tune file could be a bit off.

I just picked up 5 mailing boxes. I'll get some parts on the go.
The boxes just need names on them now!

Re the A15, It probably depends on what your plans are? If you want bang for buck HP, this EFI/Turbo setup would be fantastic.

It would be a fairly mild upgrade going NA, and the standard inlet manifold will become a restriction at some point if headwork and a decent cam is used. That being said, you could make a better inlet manifold later on and have all the benefits of EFI. You wouldn't be wasting much money upgrading the manifold later as these Inlet manifold mods aren't the expensive bits.

I found the manifolds, packed and labelled (I did something right for a change . Next chance I get I'll unpack the crate and get one out. Then we'll figure out how to get it to you.

I'm just chasing bang for buck upgrade atm mate I'm collecting parts still for another build for the old girl but it's going to be big mods so until then this will suffice... With the original drive train anyway. so I will have what eva is left ova from my a12 for ur projects but think it will be a bit late for ppl wanting to do this build unless they don't mind waiting that is.

72, This turbo setup on an A12 will make more power and torque than a worked NA A15. Should be very drivable and return good mileage too.

I'm off to pick up 5 of everything I need from the wreckers today.

1 kit is accounted for... 4 left.

How many $ do you want for the kits?
