The leaves are reset the same way no matter which axle is used. Although the big-tube axles will lower the car about 1/2" compared to a sedan/couple axle.

Resetting leaf springs is changing the arch (camber). There are two ways to do this.
* Cold pressing (cold roll or hammer press) is how commercial big-rig shops do it. Then involves a big press.
* Heat setting is favored by small shops and shadetree mechanics as it can be dine with a torch. It involves heating the springs to remove the 'spring' in the steel, then reshaping them to the new setting, followed by another heat treating to restore the 'spring' again.

With soft car springs you should stiffen up the spring rate, for example by adding another long leaf, to compensate for reduced suspension travel. With the stiffer ute and wagon spring packs this is not necessary.

Reverse-eye is not used. Resetting can get it low enough to sit on the bump stops.
