Tbh i would have expected it to be worth at least 1k. If i was building a gx i would pay that. But i guess your issue is actually finding someone who is building one.

No bitter banter here I'm the sweetest around. Believe you me I've over paid and under paid as much as underpriced and overpriced. It all balances out eventually.

My prediction was a concern that top hop A parts would be getting rare very quickly was met with the opposite view that the good A series parts will be flooding the market after speedway moves on from GX & similar parts. The obvious thing no one saw was that speedway heads are shaved more than sheep, as you found out over time with your head.

I was sure you did buy a NOS gx head from Peter for 400 plus post, as you were next in line and even got a thankyou from you for letting Peter know I was no longer interested and you were.

Just for comparison; about 2 years a go I ponied up $700 for a complete head from PJZ, it had basic port job, race springs and the reduced/narrow stem valves. A brand new untouched head would be good for a racer who wants to have an unmolested head. My thought is between $400-600 depending on circumstances at the time of sale. Someone needs a head for upcoming event etc.
