Those wires might go to the hazard flasher unit.

Make sure that is not the turn signal flasher. The hazard flasher is a separate unit for certain models. What year and body style is your car?

All JDM 1200s only use only a single flasher unit.

Iv got the same switch as this

The switch was used 8608-8910 (mid-B122). Early B122 & Late B122 used different switches.

To troubleshoot:
* Do your turn signals work?
* Do all the T/S lights flash (front, rear and side)?
* When you put the Hazard switch to flash position, does the light come on and stay on (stuck) or do not light at all?

So t/s work fine. All lights are working. When i flick the hazard switch i get zip, nadda. silly thing. Are the 2 green wires with spade connectors(the 2 at the bottom of the pic) supposed to be connected to anything?

ja the two single wires of the switch... Unplug one side of the Flasher unit and plug the two wires into it. Because the switch is optional, it just plugs in

Actually leave it connected at the flasher can, but trace the flasher can wire up to the Red connector, pull it apart there and connect the Hazard switch between Red & Green wire connectors
