Thanks guys. I prefer the coupes. The 2dr sedan only happened because it happened to pop up at the time. I was looking for a coupe.

More old parts coming back. A mate bough these off me a year or so ago and never used them. I think these on an L16 would be pretty cool in the Y. Sort of 160Z style - under the bonnet anyway...

Got a fully counter weighted L18 crank with rods & 86 mm pistons down here if you're interested. Would really be good inside an L16 engine. No replacement for displacement. . I really love the way it looks with the Hotwires, now you just need to load up for the traffic light wars. Is it the H145 or H150 diff under there. Might need to find another BW diff.

I love my l17 lol. Just a shame new he's needs the larger bore size of and l18.
Just use l18 crank with the 240k flat tops. Nice Little unit.

I know where there's a L20B 2.2l stroker with cam, ported head and twin 1.75" British SUs sitting around rusting away in a 720 king cab wreck I bought some parts from during my brief 720 ownership... I might give him a call in a few weeks time when I have some spare coin. It's not an L16, but it might do :P

If you have to, I've found that the engine brackets off an injected L24 from an R30 Skyline are shorter & should allow you to drop the motor down into the engine bay. That's how I'm planning to get my L20B under the bonnet of the Sunny, with the Stanza brackets & the 200b rubbers it hits the bonnet. I don't know if it's a problem with 120Y's, they seem to be taller in this area.
