What make, model & year was your first vehicle, and if you could buy it back today, would you?

Talk about it ...

Morris Minor 1000, 1957 model.

The only thing I would want off it would be the number plates

GTO-065

1986 R31 Nissan Pintara. I wouldn't buy it back but I'm still keeping true to the CA. That thing took a flogging and never died... Or got serviced.

An RT81 Corona, 12R engine . Solid enough car but the engine burned plenty of oil and was always noisy. Na, I wouldn't have it back. But I would have my HK GTS Monaro back. I sold it for $1300.

My 1984 Datsun 1200/B120. Browsed online while I saved, and eventually got lucky. I learned to drive manual in it - completely stock. Had it for a year now. Easily prefer driving it over the 2001 AU XR6 I learned to drive in.

Wow a long time ago now, but my first car was a 'Morris Major Elite'. Not really what I wanted, but it was for sale around the corner from home and at the bargain price of $200. I sold my much loved Mongoose BMX bike to get it and it got me around town for a couple of years till I sold it for an XW Falcon.

Can't say I'd really ever want the Morris back..but there's a few of my old cars I would love to return to my garage if I located them, including a HQ Station Wagon, HQ LS Monaro, HJ GTS Monaro, VK Interceptor, Datsun 1200 Coupe, Datsun 1200 Ute with GX running gear and of course the old Mongoose would rate as a classic these days to.
