silly me didnt take a photo of it before i took it out and now i cant remember the position it was in. ive attatched 3 photos, which way is correct? i think its the angled one. pics 1 and 2

According to my A14, you can have it positioned similar to the first photo, but angled away from the block, and the alternator. However you like, really.

The correct position is like pic no 3. It angles towards cyl head as this would of been in a Nissan Vanette which has the motor under the seat and this tube is angled that way so it is easy for the dipstick to be pulled out to check oil level.
