Do the 280zx swap man, super easy. Super effective. Click on the link above for more deets.

Search the threads for the Oregon USA man who will sell you the bracket and bolts.
All you will need are the rotors (can be bought new) and some Sunny or pulsar calipers from a wreckers/dismantler. Brake hoses can also be bought new. Get wheel studs from Nissan Maxima/ Ultima.

Not sure if Europe had the same model availability as JDM or Oz and NZ, but you could always buy from those markets.

If you use those brakes, the wheels will be pushed out. That's the Mike Klotz 280ZX rotor-over-hub swap. For exact caliper and rotor part numbers, see our Datsun 1200 tech article: 280ZX Brake Upgrade

These two swaps won't push the wheels out:
* B310 245mm rotors. See See Big Disc Upgrade
* S13 250mm rotors. See S13 Brakes
The only one of all these to use Vented Rotors is the S13 Brakes

280ZX and S13 won't fit over many 13" wheels

B310 fits over virtually all 13" wheels

Is there anyone selling the B310 swap kit? Ready to go with the two parts required:

Quote:
1. Needs simple machining and a spacer ring to change the large 73mm hub reg to 70 mm

2. Need a caliper adapter to move the caliper out 16 mm

Not that I've heard of. However any machine shop can fabricate the ring, which is 3 mm wide and 70mm I.D. -- something like that. Take both the new disc and the 1200 disc hub to the machinist for measuring

The caliper adapter is likewise simple to fabricate. It's just a plate with four holes, and it depends on which caliper you use. I'd recommend the B310 caliper which uses larger brake pads, although zigmondo used PBR calipers

Spacer ring is shown in this photo, also shows caliper adapter bracket for 120Y PBR calipers
