Where can I buy non-retractable (manually adjusted) old style seat belts for a 1000 (probably from 1200 too)? Or if anyone has some good condition 1000/1200 ones I will pay.

The ones I pulled from my car have the older style metal type buckle receptacle, not interested in plastic at all. I would get mine re-webbed but the metal receptacle has some corrosion now.

Cheers

Hey Mate,

Came across these guys a while back: http://www.retrobeltusa.com/

Also interested if anyone has contacts / ideas in AUS as mine are shagged.

Cheers,

Hi Mate,

Try these guys.

http://www.apvsafetyproducts.com/index.htm

I went into REPCO to see if i could get belts for my 1200 coupe and was told to call this company. This company supplies REPCO with their aftermarket belts. They do non-retractable ones. just give them the lengths you need for belts and buckles and happy days.

Also if anyone has stock belts in their coupe it would be awesome to get measurements for the belt sash and buckle. Just saying :)

Can't order from the states unfortunately due to ADR.

Thanks for the suggestions I'll see what I end up doing. I can get refurbed ADR seat belts for approx $800 at http://seatbeltsolutions.com.au/services/rewebbing/,

and if on a budget the plastic crap four belts for $400 at https://www.seatsafe.com.au/.

Tough choice!

Cheers

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MEASURE THEIR SEATBELTS for all 1200 models.

We need this information for the tech wiki.

I am having real trouble trying to find seat belts for my coupe (bought it without them). I can go aftermarket but its a crapshoot without hard measurements.

Thanks.

In New Jersey, you can find many belts that fit the 1200 coupe. Pickup trucks are a good source, just go to pick-n-pull and start looking. Most Ford, GM or Chrysler belts will fit if you like the look and style. The 1200 uses a standard bolt size

Yes but I want new ones.

Can we get some people to make the following measurements and put this to bed?

Those are for early or late Coupe? They changed the mounting points in mid-1972
