Just wanting to know if i can just do a simple replacement of my stock coil and just put this in as wiring is all the same i know it will draw a little more ohm but just wanting to confirm if i can just throw it on and off i go or will i need to put in the electronic distributor to suit

Ideal with an electronic dizzy. I run one with a bluebird Bosch dizzy modded for the A-series.

HEC 715 is not compatible with points ignition. It requires a high-power electronic ignition, for example, the standard Pertronix EI is not strong enough to use the HEC 715. Stock Nissan high-energy systems can handle it

A very good choice is actually a Suzuki 4WD coil with an electronic ignition these are a heavy duty oil filled coil with no BS and good spark and oil filled reliability wheras the Bosch is a transformer type coil and can have some issues with heat

Agreed. Also, Nissan 1980's Bluebird, Pulsar and other use heavy duty oil filled coil with high-output spark
