It's not hard to check.
Sit your head gasket onto your head with the locator dowels in place. With the ex valve springs removed, open your valves up, and measure how close the outer edge of the bore is to the head gasket.
Dont forget, the gasket will probably have a larger hole than your bore. So measure the hole in your gasket, and subtract half the difference from your valve to head gasket difference to see how close it actually is.

I ran a 42mm inlet with I forget what oversize (2mm maybe?) with no need for notching.
But as said, the inlet is offset more toward the middle.
