I have heard that the stock engine mounts are ok, but dont use polyurethane style ones. One bloke for Pedders head office told me he used to rally a 1200 and used mounts of a Range Rover. Anyone know what these look like. I think he said they were much bigger and were shaped like dohnuts

Why couldn't you use solid mounts?

Anyways, I heard that 200SX mounts fit if you cut off the extra bolt, and they are a better design.

Thanks for the reply guys. I used solid mounts in my drag B210, but thought that with all of the bouncing and flexing a rally car chassis would go through, that solidly mounting the engine block might crack the block eventually. I like the idea of using the 200SX modified mounts. Thanks again.

The photos make the sweep cars look like they are having a go too. I thought you couldnt be too much of a smart ass being a sweep? Oh, hang on, we did put a 4x4 down a bank one year before a rally
