Nissan4eva, do you have to use a Nissan engine? is it for competition? I've tuned a couple of Toyota 4AGE 1600cc 20 valve engines lately, The one that left yesterday made 97Kw at 7600 and 140Nm at 6000 ATW with standard cams and 13:1 comp. It had manually adjustable cam pulleys that made a significant difference to putting the torque where the customer wanted it. I know its a bit off topic, but just showing it as a comparison.

I like the VVT version
* Extra HP, yet idles smoothly
* Can trigger VVT with dash-mounted switch (no computer needed)

How to adapt an A-series transmission
* bolt up 3 bolts
* (optional) redrill 4th bolt
* machine GA flywheel to accept A12/A14/A15 flywheel ring gear
* grind GA block corner where A-series starter fits
* Cut extra length off the A-series spigot (or drill the GA crank deeper)
* Use pilot bushing 1/2" x 3/4" cut to length (0.69 inch)

D I'm not sure Peter went with the GA, it's been a year or two since I spoke to him but he was still using the A series.

He kept saying he was going to use it next season but I guess
he must still have some hot A series left overs to abuse first

on the sentra and SR20 forums one is making 119whp with bolt ons

Thats factory inlet manifold and compatible camshaft to suit not race cam
while cant find the link to the 178hp 1.6L race motor which had what PJZ
also mention that with little work still has incredible fat torque curve
Either way would love to see Peters setup

Dd this is my setup..had to make it work with 4,days to go before racing, after I damaged my 2 A15s.
4_1 extractor and twin 40s on b14 straight port ga15..

Can't use vtc/VTEC/vvt/vvl etc in this particular class, but any nissan engine under 1601ccs

Sik...not allowed to cross manufactures. But I do have a ke70 with bt20v which I use in a higher group...jus trying to keep the Datsun alive.
