Yeah with a balance bar system there needs to be some wiggle room on either side of the bearing sleeve to adjust bias for front or rear pressure increases. My sleeve was a little wide not giving the ability to achieve a squared connection keeping the push rods parallel.

I just have to take .067" off one side of the sleeve that allows this wiggle room.

Luis this video is for you. even though it is a Tilton video the concept still applies to setting your balance bar up.

Awesome development and craftsmanship Matt. One question for you though, For those who retain the cable operated clutch, how do you think it will play out with the available space the lever and twin BMC balance bar will consume.

pic for reference.

Wish I could be able to answer that one. I noticed the wider opening for the cable clutch pedal box. Even though it is wider than the Hydro pedal box it does appear the balance bar would occupy some of the same space as the clutch lever.

I can't be sure though. I would need a physical example in my hands to be confident.

Matt, would it be possible if the brake pedal fulcrum adapter [that houses the balance bar] was further centralized on the brake pedal and therefore the BMC mounts would be off to the side of the pedal box. This could also allow provision for a cable operated clutch assembly to be retained and as an option a 3 MC could be introduced to mount the clutch MC, for those wishing to mount the clutch MC under dash also. For the later, an adaptor for the clutch lever would need to be designed and made to activate the Clutch MC. The MC bracket would need to designed to house 3 MC's.

cheers

I could make an attempt to squeeze everything into the gap. I will have to do more extensive models of the whole assembly so I can get a much more precise visual of possible interference. I think this 3 Space setup could work. Just tons more work to get it there.

I start to burn through my savings when I do new designs. So I will have to stretch things out unless I Pre-sell a bulk amount.

For the 3 space Cable clutch system Kit, Single BMC Kit, or Double Wilwood BMC Kit?
