Nope. Not going to bore it out. Going to keep it the same. I believe I'm already 20 over.

Still waiting on the machine shop. That's always the hold up. Engines can be tore down and rebuilt in hours. Machine shops take days when you're waiting for your turn. Block came out of the tank Friday so machining should be started. Told Bill I'd leave him alone and call him Monday. He wants specs on the new pistons so I have to call Arias on Monday. With Boost and Nitrous he's recommending room for expansion on the pistons to the cylinder walls. All engine brackets and parts are cleaned and ready. Just need measurements
For pistons, rings and bearings.
Got my oil filter relocation kit as well. Prior, I had to pull the radiator, supercharger and carbs to change the oil.
Not anymore. Will be changing it more frequently.

teflon side coated slugs help alot with bore walls on big stroke motors
common practice by all manufacturers using 89mm+ strokes

Bill does his own coating but has never done it for anyone else. Most likely he won't do it for me. He does not want to be liable.
I have to call Arias tomorrow and get some numbers.

Got my measurements so new Arias Forged Pistons and King Racing Bearings on order. Talked with Total Seal and they will make me a set of Gapless Top Rings.
Bills working on the head now. Still need to order a Cometic MLS upper head gasket kit.
Should have this engine back together around the first of the year as long as I can get the rings back from Total Seal.
I really didn't have to tear this engine apart, it was running fine but I'm glad I did. Didn't realize how much I worked the motor and really wore it out. It's the cost of racing.

Now I'm into new intake and exhaust valves. Heads apart now and stock valves are two worn to use. So I'm into this more and more. I ordered a set of Supertech stainless steal valves and dual springs. Going to have a really built motor when this is done.

Well I'm almost $2k just in new parts on this motor and it was running just fine when I pulled it. Just ordered a timing chain kit and oil pump gears. I just mailed my pistons rings to Total Seal so they can make me Gapless top rings and Napier second rings.
Machine shop is finishing block and rebuilding the head installing the Supertech stainless valves and dual springs.
Maybe my HP potential will increase. I sure as hell hope so.
