With an A12, and a 149 "Clives" cam on 10PSi - fitted with a T2 you would get about 120 ft lb @ 6000 rpm and about 165 hp @ 8000 rpm. Not bad for a little squirt huh! Go the A 12!!!!

Thats crank hp/torque.
You lose about 15% -20% of that depending on driveline condition for rear wheel hp. Still a very attractive proposition torque wise.

It'd be a tight fit..and illegal in NSW due to the light weight of the 1000 (B10)

What horsepower can be achieved from an A12 with a Weber 32/36 and extractors with a 2" exhaust and a straight thru muffler? Has anyone dynoed their A12 with these basic modifications?

If you are interested in horse power, why don't you buy a horse. You could show off your horsepower without opening the bonnet, and when it starts performing badly you could eat it, and get another one.

Sorry...I'm in one of those moods. I'll stop it now.
