For a standard 1200 head (no porting) with new valves, springs, planed straight, dipped and with refaced rocker gear etc around the $250 - $300 mark.

wow - i must have had a good price on my L series 6cyl head.
new E30 casting, new seals, re-faced tappets, 5 angle valve job, all machined etc etc for $400...!
