New temp gauge showed up in the mail today so I had a chance to install it and put the car back together. Didn't get a chance to start it. I had to be at the track for a preseaon meeting which lasted late enough that it was to late to go back to the garage. I'll fire it up and take it for a drive when I get home from work in a couple of days.
Not much more to do except for some wiring.
Here's that video again since it was left hanging on the last page.

Not much more going on. Fired the car up again but am slow on the wiring for the Nitrous purge system so at the moment the seats are still out. I ordered some relay wire plugs so I can organize all my relays onto one single panel. I believe I have 8 in all.
Backed the car out of the garage yesterday and started some pre spring cleaning. My goal is to throw out unnecessary stuff and organize. Built a new workbench because I burned the last one a few years ago when I needed to store my Mustang in the garage over the winter.
I've also been cleaning the concrete floor.
Tip of the day. You want clean concrete?
Brake Cleaner and Kitty litter does wonders. Makes it look almost brand new.

So what's left is the nitrous purge system, relay reorganize and I decided to install a radiator fan bypass switch. Shouldn't really need it but also it doesn't hurt to have one more switch to my collection.

Oh and a race buddy of mine gave me a gallon of VP Q16 race fuel. I'm going to give that a try in my nitrous standalone fuel cell. The stuffs a lot better than the VP 110 that have been using.

Finished another project on the dashboard.
Yes, more switches.
Nitrous Purge button to the left and to the right of that an arming switch. Next an electric fan bypass switch which I shouldn't need but I've had a radiator sensor switch go out in the past so this would be the backup. And on the right my 3-way High/Low Nitrous bottle warmer switch which is also on a pressure sensor so bottle will be a constant at 925 PSI.
Ash trays are over rated.

I also organized 5 of the 9 relays in my car. The other 4 were to far from the general location under my dash.
Mounted an aluminum angle and fastened the:
1. Supercharger Clutch Relay
2. NOS Purge Relay
3. NOS/Fuel Solenoid Relay
4. NOS Fuel Pump Relay and
5. Fuel Pump Relay

Tomorrow I'll take a break.

Finish Nitrous Purge through the hood. Window washer fluid hole worked perfectly. I just had to weld a bracket to the hood to hold the purge fittings. Haven't had window washer fluid under my hood since 1999.

New hood scoops going on. I'm painting them right now. One of the old ones was warped last year when my exhaust header got to hot. Timing issues. That's all figured out. New scoops look way better. Will post when they are on the car.
Scoops are the last of my projects. Car's almost done.

Scoops on.
Bigger than the last ones but they look nicer. I had to cut out the fronts to make them functional.
We've had constant days of rain so the cars been sitting in the garage. I'm hoping for a break in the weather so I can drive it. Engine still needs a full break in.
I should pull it out and wash it. It's filthy.

Dude, this thing is amazing. You got more switches, a mad bonnet, relays relocated, and then, hmm, engine is a bit dirty, should probably completely pull it out just to give it a wash off. You're a weapon mate! Good on you.

Thanks guys. Although I could pull the engine and wash it, I meant that I could pull the car out of the garage and wash it.
Still have to put the grill on but I'm thinking about making a grill similar to Roadkills General Mayhem. I like the way it looks and it would increase airflow.

It'd be interesting for sure, but what will you use? Individual wires or something like silver flyscreen mesh?
