Yes, those will run nice on the A14. What size/make are they?

Seem to remember doing this before - Biggest hurdle is making your own manifold 32- 34mm is probably in the ball park for a stock A14.
36 -38mm for something with head and cam work. jmho

Datsun used 38mm bore carburetors on the A14. 4 carbs are rated the same as single carb, as the cylinder only draws air 1/4 of the time (for a 4-cycle engine)

The correct sizing depends more on the venturi size

I'm using 39mm Keihin FCR carbs on an A15, they flow way more than the CV carbs, I also used the carbs on my A12 without issue.

As those carbs were meant to power a 125-160hp motorcycle engine they would work fine on an L16 or A14. It's just a matter of jetting.

The L series inlets dont lend themselves well for evenly spaced carbs like these
Some people have done it but if you are after a peppy engine with good economy
the ones in the pic should be fine but I would use the last of the L series based
heads that came after the Z series which are called NA series.
Here someone had one for sale and you can see they come factory standard with
roller rockers and evenly spaced ports. Here in Japan the Nissan 720 guys run them
with the flat slides and webers and they sound awesome and have excellent mid range.
One I saw at a yearly meet made close to 166 hp ate @ 7400rpm and 160lbs of torque but
standard will make 120hp with good headers and induction stock cam etc.
The rocker cover is standard Z series and uses L series ignition.

maybe if still avail you can get a soufrikan member to look at it?

more pics from alibaba
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail ... der-head_60415432320.html

They take all standard Z series manifolds so can also run Z series injection, headers and
even KA24de turbo manifolds with little effort porting them for clearance

A14 works well with evenly spaced carbs. See this for ideas about making adapters for the A-series engine: Making Adapters

Those Carbs can be paired. There is a long bolt that passes through the upper portion and a plate at the bottom connecting them all together. Remove them and the whole rack of carbs can be separated from each other. You can then mod the bottom connecting plate to keep them in pairs for the L motor. Short runner Cannon intake and an angle mount adapter is used to keep the carbs at the desired angles.

Or I have a set of Bike Carb Manifold coming for the L motors. Same concept as above. All of these options need some level of mechanical knowledge. You still have to sort out a throttle linkage.

sure they can be paired using aftermarket or Matts manis
however you have to make sure the weber manifold outlets
match the carbs or get the spacing between carbs and mani
to be modified to suit. It can be alot of work but L series
weber manifolds are a cheap starting point.

The NA20 head have the best flow to suit road applications hence
they are still used on 4wd, taxis, industrial and buses albeit with
plenty of emissions gear and restrictive inlet and outlets.
Just using the EFI and headers from the earlier Z frees them
up substantially and the roller rockers are one of only 2 factory heads
used for mass produced Nissans in this first then the rare complex Sr20ve.
Z manifodls fit straight on but so would the ease of making a bike carb mani

But if they will go Better On the A14 I All ready have in the car Maybe just rebuild the struts might be easer ?? But also I wouldn't mind a bit more Hp The Guy I got my carbs of said these might only get 100hp that's not much Hay
