The setup I am building has a15 + 60a 5 speed + a12 flywheel + engine plate. Is there gonig to be a problem with the clutch? Will the release bearing move far enough?

Further info; I'm using a slightly longer release bearing carrier like the one on the right in the photo. It is the carrier from a stock 120y; ie, a12 + a12 flywheel + engine plate + 56a 4 speed.

I had a setup that worked well that was a12 + a12 flywheel + engine plate + 60a 5 speed + longer carrier. So all I am changing is swapping an a15 for an a12.

If all your swapping is the A15 for an A12, the existing clutch will work the same. Only if you change the flywheel, plate, gearbox type or release sleeve will it be affected

Thanks. Yes, I can confirm that everything still just works the same when just changing the engine.

I ran that setup for a few years with no problems. Should be fine.
