I have a rebuilt engine, but it has a cracked suction pipe that leaks badly. I have a brand new suction pipe.

I've tried putting vice grip on it a have whacked as hard as I can but it does not want to budge.

Any other tricks to get it out? Cut it and use some kind of bearing puller and slide hammer? Heat?

I have removed several. Using vice grips, tap moderately with hammer on both sides to rock the pipe back & forth and eventually out
