Hi Guys

I had a issue in my b210 , suddenly it stopped while driving , just before it stopped it increased its rpm suddenly to higher and then stopped could not start it any more, suspected the ignition coil here i have attached a video showing its spark of the ignition coil with the help of my kid , sorry for the week video taken , what do you think ?

Sounds like it ran out of fuel. Pour a small amount of petrol in the manifold and see if it starts. If it does, figure out why it's not getting fuel and start at the tank working up to the carby.

Yes, sounds like the engine has good compression, but it is not firing. Either no spark or no fuel

Fuel: Check to see if the fuel bowl is 1/2 full by look through the sight glass. If there is no fuel that is the problem

Guys thanks i am running , toyota aisan carb on it unfortunately it does not have float glass, i will pour some fuel into it and check it back and let you guys know

Hi Guys

i found the reason why it stopped , it was this (see the image), secondary throttler door that was opened while driving through shaft throttle spring entangled with it, that is why it got accelerated suddenly and stopped,
Fixed it it starts but it takes long time to start I i have to key it around 10 seconds to start it)after starting as long as i keep my foot on accelerator up it stays as soon as i take my foot off it dies, what should be suspected ?

I suspect the idle speed whenever the engine won't idle with foot off. If it does idle OK when warmed up, and only fails to idle when cold, suspect the fast-idle system

In the photo the idle-speed screw lever appears unconnected

Hi Guys

Took the carb apart from the car, and noticed that the screws that holds secondary throttler door has broken out an there are 2 holes under the carb secondary throttle door, and could be one of the reason for it hard starting and also noticed that the idle mixture screw has a longer spring on it so that it does not close properly, i am going to remove that and put a new spring and going to close that door holed with some king of glue at the moment and fix it to see how (eventhought the screws have come out secondary throttle door is fixed closed because it is stuck )

Hi Guys
replaced the idle mixture screw spring and started the car , it runs normal or higher rpm stall on idle and run rough
Idle mixture screw all the way down but yet car starts and accelerate normal is it a floor error in my carburetor ?

Mixture screw all the way in should not be able to run the engine. Some possible causes are
* choke(throttler) partially engaged
or
* internal fuel leak (too much fuel entering manifold). Such as:
** float level extra high
or
** power valve stuck open

HI Guys

Considering all these factors thought to replace the carburetor with old hitachi back, it sounded good for 2 rides so far stays idle did not stall the engine when stopping, everything looks good to me other than the cold start
when cold it starts on the first key and stall immediately ,after that it very hard start it need to hold the starter for few times sometimes little longer than usual, But when it is hot it starts on first key , what should be checked ??
