A google search says its 32mm.

Must be an error on my behalf or possibly a manufacturer defect.

yes the bearing is a nominal 32mm -- to fit 32mm axle shaft. However it is also a slight press fit, so it will be slightly smaller than 32.00 mm -- more like 31.97 mm is the actual Inside Diameter. Compare to the other wheel bearing that you have

Coupe bearings are supposedly different from the ute/sedan/wagon. A friend on Facebook discovered that when rebuilding the rear end in his convertible coupe.

That's right, there are several different bearings. Early 1200 sedan/coupe vs all other 1200 and perhaps Japan-assembled vs local-assembled (Borg-Warner diffs, at least 3 different ones). And in the last 45+ years someone might have swapped parts so it is necessary to measure what you are trying to replace

For coupes originally sold in USA like Jeff's coupe here (all Japan-assembled) there is the 1971-early 1973 bearing 62x32x16 mm and the late 1973 72x32x19 mm

But these are bearings and even with the same part number there are different ones. For example type 6206 bearing has a bore size of 30mm. The 6206 bearing with a 32mm bore (for 1200 sedan/coupe)is called a "special bore size" bearing. And like the photo above, two boxes with identical part number had two slightly different bearings (!)

The moment you realize...... you used US thread brake fittings for every single brake line, when the tech wiki says M10 metric fittings.

🤬🤬🤬

Chances are i cross threaded my brand new brake calipers. My brand new master cylinder. My brand new wheel cylinders. And my brass 3 way connectors.

I am at a low point on this build.

I had that happen to me, i learned to never use a wrench on brake lines. Always start with finger only and only if it threads all the way in use a wrench for final torque
