I have a few 1200 bits sitting under the bench and was thinking they would be way cool in a open wheeler. So I am having a bit of a look for a clubman frame or unfinished project .Any one got one hiding under a blue tarp out the back ?
What is out there ?
Would also consider a stripped out ute shell .

1000 vs kit car = 1000 has bootspace, designed for A series, doors, windows,
can weigh around 590-625kg and have a roof as well. Low flung kit cars have
average visibility, can wear out your back due to seating position also trying
to get in and out is not as comfortable.
Depending on your setup most kits would need an engineer certificate yet the
1k can hide a 1400cc A12 and back seat are for spare wheels etc.
