Has anyone used VDO fuel gauges before if so did you use the original sender or the vdo sender?

The Datsun sender is 73-88 to 10-12 ohms. Some Ford/Chrysler/VW beetle are the same

VDO gauge 301 020 of any of their 73-10 gauge should work

VDO I don't think has a Datsun fuel tank-compatible sender, although you could modify the tank to make one of their universals fit
