they should use a new frame and body base not original versions but would like to see if Nissan does something similar with an NA vh38r

I just watched that Super Cooper race in ‘Fastest Car’ Season 2 on Netflix. That thing looks like a wild ride. I didn’t realise he offered them as a turnkey product. I thought that was just his own personal ride.

They wont turn as well the D series sohc 16v with boost are 60kg lighter
than the K series (v6 is overkill) and can make 850hp as done by Bisimoto The bimmer 2002 are rarer and annoys me they will use original examples ![]() Even I have a Mini top of the range 1275 which very common here in Japan. Now if they started doing 2 door conversions to 4 door 510 models then into BRE replicas with 10k rpm 1.6 and 1.8 L series engines I would not complain

good enough for blue collar criminals to afford with their discounts but not for us
Its funny you posted the MiniHonda link as Ive been thinking of a K24z7 head like bisimoto used in his honda civic wagon. That thing makes over 1000hp with 10:1 compression. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAiOrV4Six8 I was thinking K20 bottom end k24z7 head $300aud & 8.5:1 comp due to k24 bigger chambers. type R or accord fwd box with lsd for $300 Problem is Im anti ecu and complicated wiring so leaning towards pressure fed 2 inch SU and air to air intercooler before it. Im giving up on getting a datsun atm they are commanding more than double of locally sourced lexus sc430 coupes!

On ‘Fastest Car’ Season 2 , Im sure the Civic is AWD pumping out over 1000 hp.
But when you look at the Mini , its quiet and stock looking but still pulls high 9,s low 10 and affordable

Lexus V8 has ECU
Datto has carby and is worth twice the money Can a mini carry four adults like my 1200 has done many times?

On that show I only watched the last few episodes and final.
I actually like the rod from the stubborn wheelchair guy He missed a gear but still would have lost to the Lambo he just couldnt admit it. However I would was rooting for his rod to upset the modern cars and love the fact you can tinker with it depending on the seasons where you have no choice but to use your senses and smarts to keep it purring efficiently. The Honda K series and even Bisi`s world record holding F series engine in an all alloy Honda Insight, had no vtec! He used his chemical engineer background of turning chemical energy into heat then mechanical energy. He proved to the world how important thermal coatings are for engines and still overlooked. He manages 380 to 400hp atw from 2.3 litre F series and still holds the fwd all motor record. He never used Vtec back then and then moved to boost and eventually all the technology he could muster from the Honda engines. The japanese managed 380hp from the K series using 90mm bores and 104mm stroker crank for 2.7L and still only recently almost 10 years after Bisi`s junkyard F series from an old accord and less capacity eg. more hp per L. As you say very affordable engines the Honda units however the vq35de has recently made 600hp ate NA tune 4.2L bored and stroked which weighs the same as a turbo K series. Loved to have an exa turbo wide body with a vq35!! You still have any of the Exas? Look at this psycho suicidal maniac!!!!! http://www.n12turbo.com/media/events/racing/20bexa/20bexa.htm

Yeah luv that old rat rod on series 1 and you can see " White Zombie " lose it,s ass end and take out a neat RX2in middle of the series
But in all fairness, the final race was run on dirt and the Lambo was AWD. I never knew the Honda,s were making such HP til I watched the shows. And you can buy a AWD kit for a few thousand for em . Yeah got rid of both EXA,s to a purist. And all the rear wheel conversions ive read about are either SR,s or Rotary. But your right , that 1 is Sick !! DD , I have had many exotic birds , also sleepers and show ponies and no , you cant fit 4 into a mini legally... thats why Ive always kept a Datto 1200 over all the rest . Thats a car you have to drive and feel , it doesnt drive itself.. But now ive put them back up for sale . As I was considering recently , casting n refabin many old hard to get parts at a realistic price. Particularity for racers on a large scale. But im heading oversea,s now You can view topic.
