Factory spec: 0.7-0.8mm (0.0287 - 0.315 in)

You may find that the engine runs smoother with a 0.035 gap (9mm ?). That's what I run.

thanks guys ill try all that but i dont think it will help all that much because now i have this weird noise coming from the block i dont know what the heck it is but i would like to find out if anyone knows what it could be!
