Finsihed up a suspension rebuild/upgrade this weekend. Dropped it about 3" all around and added some 16x7s.

Exactly.

I'm a big fan of a bog standard body with a nice set of rims and a drop.

I would lurve to have a nice straight 2dr 1600 or 1200 coupe which is bog stock body wise (cream in colour maybe) with a set of 15" or 16" Enki mags. Not chromes and not too old school but similar to yours. Looks great, good choice.

edit: I saw a two door Mk1 Escort in a car park ages ago that was resprayed in the original white with a set of (i think) black 15/16"superlites. Lowered. No kit or tack ons. Looked horn.

Like Tim's coupe "Gilbert". I just have something for that orginal white/cream, probably becasue of the first 2 coupes I bought one was red the other cream. The red one was really faded hence the cream "looked better". Turns out it had more rust and bog than the red one.

P.S. Does Gilbert still exist, if so any changes or updates?

Actually, the car was called Gil. I'm not sure where John got the "bert" part when he posted those pictures, but I digress.
Gil became Mini-Pearl when I started to put a Z-20 and automatic in it for my mom. It became Gilligan (Gil, again) when I bought the car above for her, it already had an automatic. Gilligan was in the process of having the turbo A-12 put in it when a guy came to the shop wanting to buy a 1200. I quoted him a price I thought was high but one I could accept if he went for it. He went for it. It now has had the blasphemy of a Mitsubishi 2.6 turbo engine installed in it. I have seen it once since then, but not on the road. So, there you have it. The story of Gil/Mini-Pearl/Gilligan.

Cool ride man, and not far from me. One thing from keeping me from dressing up my car like that is that those wheels would disappear in 20 minutes in Dallas (with no garage anyway). So I'm trying to keep mine lookin glike junk.

By the way, is it just an illusion or is the rear wheel camber a little off?
And what's with that WWW link???!?!
