I recently fitted mags to my 1978 120Y and rim choice was affected by offset. Most rims I tried had an offset of 105mm (105mm between the INSIDE edge of the rim and the back of the rim 'face'. Hopefully you know what I mean. This was too much and I had problems clearing the strut. However, a rim offset of 90mm went in perfectly. No spacers or any modifications at all. Also, you may need to ensure the diameter of the centre hole is not less than 80mm. That's just what I encountered. Maybe the 1200 is radically different, but I guess you can never have too much info... Good Luck !!
