Anyone know of anything happening in Brisbane Datsun related ??

I haven't heard anything in ages! i wouldn't mind going down to Darlington park for a track day with all the QLD boys,
So what about it? anyone interested?

PS. Darlington park is at North Yatala, Yatala pies exit, for those who don't know

I wouldn't mind going for a look if you get something organised, my datto's not up for a race day but I would love to watch one.

Steveo, I was in ipswich the other night and saw a nice green coupe, do you know anything about it? sure sounded sweet.

L18_B110 in his Lseries race coupe and myself in my turbo 1200 sedan will be competing out at the Willowbank Autocross track on champions way if you guys are interested. This is the first special test of many during the day. Directions will be handed out to anybody who wishes to follow the event throughout the day.

That's on Saturday 24th July. Its the first stage of the QLD Challenge rally. There's also a stage in Willowbank Raceway grounds straight after the autocross.

Other stages throughout the day include closed road sections at Toowoomba, Gatton, and Wivenhoe Dam. I'm really looking forward to this event... and to seeing Craigs turbo A12 in action!

edit: btw, if anyone can organise something at Darlington Park, count me in!!! That track looks awesome!

I'll be doing the Qld challenge as well but not in the ute, it will be left at home

Event looks like it is going to be lots of fun, especially the 8 special tests

I know the organisers are still looking for people to help out with the special tests so you may get a reserved seat!!

hey cameron_datto is your datto street registered???? I'd love to go on a 1200 cruise in Toowoomba seeing as though I live in warwick.

Otherwise I think we need to organise a brissy cruise!!

The 1200 coupe is more a sports sedan .. We have ran it at Morgan Park when the track was dirt ...And raced it there up until about 4 years Back.. We only do Pittsworth and Gatton sprints now .. might be going out to Morgan Park on the 22 Aug for a shake down for Pittsworth sprints .. Cheers Cam ... More Pics of the Car on Turphile ..
