well i'm about 1/2 way done making it. I could probably do better with more tools, but with a chop saw, and a drill press and a dremel and some files it's ok. I'll try to include a pic of my progress. If anyone wants a file that will make a template for making one I have one i made in illustrator and seems to be working well for me.

I WIN!!! made the adaptor got the carb mounted, havked a throttle linkage, kindof tuned the carb. I probably need different jets.

yeah, lost bottom end, gained topend.

I have also fitted the same webber to my a15 but i am wanting to know if you have sussed the jets on yours as I cant get mine to run properly!!! can you pm me with some info mate!!

i need to tune it / get it tuned. It currently idles too fast, but i got it somewhat tuned. Different jets are needed. It's driveable, I have to see if i can tune the pinging at partial throttle or if i need 91 octane.

I followed the information found in the engine tech section here and by following the instructiions on the weber site.
