my first burnout was on my dirt driveway. I got them spinnin real good, then slowly crept out on 2 the road with them still spinnin. I left sum nice marks that time. I now have this lil bit of road about 2 minutes away from me that i go nuts on. The roads got burnouts all over it now. God i love livin in the bush.
My brothers first burnout experience was rather funny. He couldnt do burnouts goin straight, so the d*#khead put it in reverse and tried doin reverse burnouts. He wasnt watchin what he was doin and went straight over the chookpen. Stupid idiot. It was funny but, cuz he started 2 cry!!!!

Hmmm .. First burnout? Thats a good question Dazza .. ive done so many i really cant remember my first one.

Oh actaully it was in my dad's LH Torana. I wasn't really expecting it to happen either. I only jsut got my licence and thought i'd be cool and show off a bit with me mates in the car. Stopped at a set of lights, with a VN Commo P Plater next to me i thought this was the perfect opportunity. I wanted to do an awsome launch. Put the car in 1st found the friction point, reved it up to 5grand and as soon as the light went green i floored it, a wee bit too much though .. i was just sitting there spinning. But the thing is, i had so much fun doing it i had to do it again and again and again.

As soon as i got home, my dad knew .. straight away. I got a smack across the head and i couldnt drive it ever again. So i went out and bought myself a VK Commo .. Burnouts galore ..

I spose on dirt dont count so it would have to have been in the 120Y in the wet. Was at a set of lights with no-one else around, lights went green so I put foot to floor and dropped the clutch. After about 10sec and wandering into another lane I just changed into second and off I went. Too wet for smoke though :(

Cant remember my first one exactly...except maybe the axle tramp in the 1200. I loved doing them after I got the nack. I can be easily coaxed into lighting them up, chewed threw two sets on the XB just having some fun. Best burnout has to be sitting on the bridge near a mates place (way out bumfuknowhere) in the XB with cheese cutters on. First gear, second gear and held it flat. I couldnt see where I was. Got it all on video! BIG mushroom cloud. Nearly did a head gasket as I didnt have a fan at the time and she went red hot just sitting there.

A friend of mine was pretty happy with the burnouts he did in his 12A J-ported RX2. I decided that a stout A15 in a 1200 ute would do better job. How embarrassing when it struggled one wheeling in first, second wasn't even an option???? Turned out that the master cylinder was shagged an I only had rear brakes! Guess I coulda found out in a worse way. . .

i had previously disconnected the rear brakes so no lube was nesecary. went til i heard one of the tyres blow got out to see the destruction then decided #### it got back in again and kept on going till the other blew. best 3 min of my life so far!

My school had a grass triangle about 3 metres in surface area in front of our school building. Pointing towards the front gates.

One day after school, I though I'd roll back onto it in the blue Datto 1200 wagon, and lay a dirt assisted brake job all the way out the gates...hoping for some fishtails...

I'd just left the grass and was a couple of metres out the gate when I used my door rear vision mirror and saw the school principal about 5 meters behind me. A little less brakes..and I was out of there...he never did catch up with me. Maybe being school captain at the time helped..I'll never know...He was old..maybe the smoke fogged up his glasses..

Another of those "I can't believe it's not butter" moments.

Chris
