you don't NEED a navigator, but it is advisable - these roads are twisty and there's a few small confusing bits that'll get you WAY lost if you miss them. still, all the roads are named so i spose if you have a street map you can always get back out of the sh1t, but it saves the hassle.
there's some long drives too, so having a navigator may also mean you can (if you choose to) surrender the wheel to someone else to save you getting tired (and trust me, you will - and you won't want to with the kinds of roads we're driving on) because yes, it is on the other side of whoop whoop
