Yeah I've had mine with an a14 and 4 speed about 1cm past the 100mph mark. Would have been like a bit over 170km/h and it was only just over 6000rpm. Temp gauge only went up marginally and it did it on flat ground. Kept pulling pretty hard for what it is.

pulled 7000 revs in 4th in my a15 coupe with a 4.1 diff don't know how fast that is but it feels fast when you try and stop and remember you only have the little coupe discs on the front. have ridden in many fast cars the best would have to be 98 wrx running 24 psi boost, dogbox, and full dms suspension it sits so flat when you are acelerating that ylou don't realsie how fast you are going until you look at the speedo and its stopped moving..

the fastest car ive driven would be my mateys WRX wagon, its goota be an 11 second car, bored out to 2.2, custom turbo....the works.
and it just sits in his garage, in the last 6 months ive probably driven it more than him

fastest car ive been in would be my mates statesman that ran 9's on slicks.

One day he offered me a lift, me not having a clue what he drove, and when we went around the corner to his car i saw a shiny statesman with a sticker ezy 9's. when i asked if it pulled 9's he told me to look in the glove box and pull out the slip - 9.79@godknowshowfast.
And this thing just scared me not to mention the damage it did to my ears, they were ringing all night after open throttle down Victoria RD

for me it comes down to driving 5 really fast cars...... or apparently valet parking them on a 5km drive...
* 2001 bullet raodster, 4.0 v8 supercharged
*2002 ford falcon coupe (yes coupe) 5.4lt superchared
*2002 pre production ford xr6turbo that definately had mre than 240kw
*masaratti twin turbo with ricy twin exhausts
*2003 supercharged monaro v8.

all modded cars and all went to well ove rlegal speeds.
best was the bullet and xr6turbo.

This is the reason it is f#*ked to leave your car at the panel beaters or mechanics.

If I ever caught someone joy riding my ute while getting fixed or valleted it may well be the last time they use ther legs.

I think it's f#&ked, my mates 200SX was seen by his brother doing hellies when it was in the shop.... Couldn't prove it, and had to pay the c#*ts.

I'm not directing this at anyone in this thread, it's just not good to know what happens behind the scenes to something you have worked hard on and for.
But I guess its the risk you take having to get work done.

Nathan

the fastest ive personally driven was a 92 300zx nothing special but the fastest car ive been in was an R34 GTR VSPEC this was the only one in adelaide at the time and was owned by my brothers mate.
He picked us up and took us for a spin in the hills and the handling and the pick was UNBELIEVABLE.
Another couple of awesome cars Ive been for a drive in are....

- 502 big block chev(8.2ltr)WB holden ute
- R33 GTR godzilla
