dodgeman, my wipers worked perfectly about a week ago when I needed them (we don't get much rain here) it was because of them using it on a dry windscreen put alot of stress on them and they undid themselves slightly.
As for the gearbox mount, I thought what I did was sufficient as I have it bolted to the original holes and I just put ones through the floor for a secondary bracing.
My fixed length seatbelts are i excellent shape, which is why I'd trust them.

But alas I'm just a pawn in this automotive game, so I'm just giving into "The Man" and fixing up everything
