Have you looked in the tech section? There is quite a bit of information on fuel injection in there.

Read it here....

I would also suggest that you search for old posts on this subject as it has been thoroughly covered in the past. Unfortunately you will find that the EFi manifolds are as "rare as rocking horse pooh" and very difficult to find. I know guys who have been looking around the globe for ages but still havent had any luck finding one.
Of course I wouldnt let that stop you, you have the option of making a manifold to suit an aftermarket throttle body or a throttle body of another production model. Then there's the need for an engine management system and the necessary sensors, I use Haltech EMS because they are simple and reasonably straight forward to map etc.
The sensors can come from almost any other car as long as your EMS will recognise the sensor type. This is a big subject so do your searching/homework and good luck.

Paul.

i think if someone is making a concerted effort to spell and not using SMS language (h8 = hate, bi = buy/bye/by, b4 = before etc etc) then there's no need to be a post nazi about it and correct everything. slipping a bit in here and there is fine by me, but using it all the time will leave you with many unanswered posts.

however, not using punctuation and making everyone's eyes bleed while they keep reading for a full stop is just plain rude. to me it's the same as TYPING IN CAPITALS WHEN YOU DON'T MEAN TO SHOUT.

either way i still don't understand the original post because it's not clear on what you want to do. are you buying a manifold and fitting it? do you need a computer or do you have one already? is it turbo'd too? do you want to know if they fit aussie engines or need modding...?

Rather simple to understand if you ask me.
Maybe some people are actually undereducated when they themself think they are highly educated.
Think back to when you were in school and you were taught to say a word. What was the golden rule? Simple. Sound the word out. If you can do that simple little thing, you must look like a genius to some of these guys on here.
I think it all comes down to some people just like to see their post counts add up.

What steve has or bought means nothing to his question. He asked what is needed to make an A12 or A15 EFI. I would also like to know why you would need to know if it is turbo or not or Aussie engines?

Lastly here is a quote;Quote:
then thanks for the invite, but i'l pass.

if this is acceptable spelling, especially in a post like this, then someone is a hypocrite.

cheers, Steve

I never fail to laugh at your posts mate. Seems I hit a raw nerve without even realising. Who ridiculed who? I dont see one question that you asked that I ridiculed, do you? I asked a question of you. Simple. But not to worry I have grown to expect my questions of you to go unanswered. That will be about number 3 or 4 now from memory.

Cheers Steve.

Oh yeah, could you also give me another witty comment. My signature is growing a bit old now, even its author has over looked it.

Boys! Boys! It looks like some of you need to have a valium or a lie down.

This is the way I see things:

1. Anyone who asks for help or advice can't afford to be too sensitive about the response or the tone of the response. "Beggars can't be chosers".

2. People who have an axe to grind (on a personal basis) with others on the forum ought to learn to moderate their posts. A bit of good humoured badinage is entertaining - but the temptation to descend into personal abuse should be resisted.

3. I AGREE THAT THERE IS NO NEED TO SHOUT - UNLESS EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to get through to some people without SHOUTING.

4. The idea of the forum is to seek and share knowledge and views. Helping people to learn to spell and use proper grammar and punctuation is, in my books, sharing knowledge.

5. This is no place to display your ignorance or your ignorant attitudes - unless, of course, you don't know any better. (If you'll excuse the tautology!)

I don't think it's necessary to add a smiley but I respect the views of any who might think otherwise.

So let me get this straight, its a crime to be illiterate? Is there some law that states how educated we must be to post on internet forums now is there? How old are you dodgeman 2? (i thought u were like 80) All everyone ever hears coming out of your mouth is cynical bullshit topped off with sour cream! Sure mate you know a bit about the way cars run and whatever, but the way you express yourself as a grimey arrogant fart cheezes the hell out of me. Why do you always point out the obvious, its not like people reading dont realize what he has written is misspelt and grammatically incorrect. So what, hoo-fucking-haa you pointed it out to everyone and yep fo-sheezy we owe you one... pfffft, ya dickhead! Some people may not be able to preach like you do but at least we can perhaps see through peoples mistakes and answer a simple question for them anyway!

Lighten the fork up!

<...awaiting further bullshit replies from the man that cant end an argument without pooping out the last word...my hero...>

So any way i think there was some topic relating to EFI on a datsun A series motor?

lets get past some pety bickering, i seem to only see you post PHunk when Pro-240C says something you should bicker about. and am sick and tired of your sh!t signature and your constant bickering and lack of answering of questions going on. i think you need to cool your jets Phunk and just enjoy the love of datsuns and share your knowledge.

right now EFI, i was talking to PRO-240 about doing this very thing but have since changed my mind. and his idea was

motorbike quad throttle bodies.
Delco Computer from a camira.
all EFI fuel gear from a camira (hell just buy one being wrecked for $100 and sell the rest.
custom intake manifold and some basic dyno tuning.

now if anyone cant understand the original post probably written in haste on a lunch break or the like, then i think your intuitive skills are sincerly lacking.

but hey in the middle of my off topic post is some on topic stuff.

OK so let me get this straight, its ok for others to comment on spelling etc but not for me?
Also get your #### straight and do some research, I dont only post when your buddie pro240c posts. Why say that for? I asked a question of him/her (pro240c) and i am now attacked for it. What is that for?
You for some reason complain that i have a lack of answering. Well what more do you want me to say than others have already written? Unlike others I only reply to answers with imformation that I know, not what i have heard or think etc. Which one is more helpful in the end?
As for you thinking my signature is ####, Oh Well what makes you think I care what you think? Atleast my signature is original hey. I laugh at the silly comment in my signature each time i see it. But honestly it is getting abit old and you will have noticed I have already ordered a new one, I am just waiting for it to arrive. But in the mean time you will noticed I have added to it, hope it will keep you amused untill the new one arrives.

Cheerio. Steve
