hey i got an old a12 engine sitting out my shed and alongside a pair of 40mm dellorto sidedraughts and an old turbo off my brothers gtx. in a few weeks im guna have a bit of spare time up my sleeve and was wondering has any1 turboed a car with twin side draughts? is there anywhere i can find a bit of information on this? anything will be helpful cheers

yeah theres a bloke on here who has a supercharger set up through webbers!.. cant remember he dudes name on here tho.

Yes, Datsun 100A racer??? has done this. I think he is in finnland, or some thing. His is a blow through.

i remember seeing on a japanese site a pair of nutter who took a liking to an SR20 in an S13.

they removed the EFI completely and retrofitted a pair of solex sidedrafts after the turbo.

it worked - not very succesfully by the looks of the dyno figures, but it worked.

anyways, why not look at using one of the carbies in a draw thru setup?

you cant use any old carby effectively on a blow through set up as they need a different seal set up on the shafts etc. also i think it ####s with the float and jetting? suck through you have to be carefull your inlet tract isn't to long or the fuel can drop out and you end up with pools of fuel in your pipework. big bang!!! go efi
