cool, she's coming along aye?
those motors are getting really popular here in NZ- or in taupo at least. Last week we machined up some adjustable pulleys for the cams (with tabs for the crank angle sensor I think) for a customer who is putting one into a jet boat and running a big carb on it. He was pretty shy with the details but said when it's up and running he'll fill us in on the specs. I've also seen these motors in various 4wd utes etc, a Saker sports car, a Ferrari F40 replica and the craziest I've heard of is a twin turbo lexus V8 in a 4wd AC Cobra replica!! By all accounts they're pretty good motors- have you seen the NZ made manifolds for the 4AGE throttle bodies that someone (I think tsillay) was talking about? They'd look cool on your 240C!!!

Good to see a 240 with a bit of muscle.

I have a 73 KH230 240C 2 door coupe I want to fit with an RB25DE. I want to do the semi retro thing, with webers, hall effect programable ignition and stainless exhaust.

Should be a beast

yeah i'd love individual throttles but i have no room for them when the bonnet is closed. i'm going for the sleeper look at the moment but i guess when i get tired of that i can go for the salt flat racer look with the rims i have in the shed powdercoated gloss black, a matt black bonnet with a small hornet scoop and individual throttles.

the 'datsun' emblem is to make the engine feel more at home and to piss of a few toyota enthusiasts it's a spare 180B badge
