Got 'gone in 60 seconds'(the original) from the library and watched it last night ... but didn't see any Datsuns in it. The DVD was scratched up and so it skipped both the Ferrari scene and the Datsun dealership scene. They say DVDs are better, but they are a lot more fragile than VHS tapes.

DD, dvds suck if you hire/borrow them.

But if you buy and keep the reciept for you DVD, you have bought a licence for that movie (or playstation game- thats how i worked out this semi scam). A DVD costs probaply 20% of what a VHS (video cassette) to burn and print, so if yours gets scratched simply send a copy of your reciept, case and the DVD to the manufacturer along with a nice letter, i have a nice one prepared saved on my computer, they will send you a letter apoligising along with a brand spanking new DVD and in one case i got a free PS2 game.

DVDs may not last the test of time but they are so much cheaper to produce that paramount, universal studios.... are be happy to spend a bit of the money they're saving keeping DVD customers happy - think about it who wants bad publicity??

I have seen a few 1200s, in the Alvin Purple movies. there was a real nice red 1200 coupe in it near the airport bit of the movie.

For the NON-aussies, he was a bloke from the 70s that did like a tv series and few movies. was mostly just bout him rooting and heaps of chicks

But anyway there was a few 1200s in his movies. i dont know if alot of Aussie's know of Alvin Purple. I used to see the Re-runs on comedy channel a few times

cheers
