Yes I've been enjoying the A12 music, so haven't put a radio in it yet.

Hey, I've had a similar problem with a stereo my brother gave me out of his pulsar, the guy that took out the stereo didn't care to keep the wiring harness that connects to the back of the stereo though. so i've got the code, the stereo, a bunch of connectors that I've shrink wrapped, but no idea of where to plug them. Do you still have the connection? Can you help me figure out what the wiring should be.

Cheers.

Sorry to drag up an old thread..
But I've just got one of these CD/radios. I should be able to get the codes for my one in the next couple of days.

My CD headunit is out of an S15 Silvia.
I'm replacing the Pulsar's CD player, because it's crap.

I picked up the S15 200SX (Silvia) unit for $40. The guy put an aftermarket one in his S15.
The VIN is normally all that's needed. And Nissan can get you the code.
I "think" that there's less than 10 codes anyway. But it's a matter of knowing what the 10 are. The Nissan Looms are the same for similar model cars. an aftermarket wiring harness for the unit costs only $20 - $30.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Chris

OR you could go buy a brand new cd player and save all the trouble of chasing up codes and wiring looms

Just maybe
