Dude there is an S13 Nissan Silvia dash cropped and dropped in my 1200 ute. Nothing is impossible.....

how can u tell the diffrence between a the dashes????, i think mine may have been changed 2 a coupe dash but im unsure. Whats the diffrences 2 look 4 on the coupe dash and 1200 ute dash. Mine has a tacho instead of a clock, thats all i can tell

Here in South Africa, the 1200 utes came out with dashes with with a clock and the other with a tacho, depending on year model.

So I think that it may well be an original setup in yours, and not from a coupe

1200 utes had factory round guages from approx 1977 onwards...

mines a 76 and has a rectangular speedo... and i know of a 78 that has round... but im not 100% sure of when they changed...

mines a 79 model and it has a round speedo but it has a clock and no tacho

There's only two kinds of 1200 dash: Round-gauge or rectangular-gauge. See photo at dash comparison.

Clock and tacho is optional, regardless of dash type.

Both types interchange, just replace the whole cluster.

In Japan there was additional type (GL and GX).
