They do not have F66!?!? Has anyone got a list of jets they use? I tried a 120 primary and it was too small. I forgot who it was but someone here gave their jet sizes from their dyno tune.

Suggested Weber 32/36 baseline jetting is in the 32/36 article.

I used some weird mix of the A12 settings there and the jets mine came with off of an MG...

I've been meaning to see what jetting they use on MG's because that would be ideal for out A15 engines.

I think I'm going to try the original jetting I had, Seemed like I had a bit more power. It made a sound going down the street that frightened pedestrians too ;)

I think that 2L ford cortina carb has the emulsion tube you are after.
My supercharged A14 has the same "blup" sound when I dump the secondary. (Kind of like a rotary with mechanicalised secondarys) This is because there is no draft operated butterfly above the venturi. Std hitachi carbs have these, as the air speed through the secondary increases, it pulls the butterfly open. This helps maintain manifold vaccuum. As the webers' don't have it, when the big hole is opened, the engine momentariliy loses all manifold vaccuum, and it can't pull any fuel through. Thus the wee stumble as the motor suddenly gets too much air.
Still, it sound quite cool on my engine to have that wee blip, right before you get pushed hard back into the seat.

I think the idea is to not smash on the throttle. Mine seems to like continual gradual pressure.

Remember that "great engineering" that Weber has? This is not supposed to happen. If a lowly Hitachi can be mashed to the floor without bogging down, the Weber should too.

The quick fix is to use a bigger accelerator pump. The correct fix is to carefully size, install and tune the Weber. Get the Weber book for details.

BOOOOORING!
The throttle in my s/c car is ON, or OFF.
The in between is boring.
remeber, the 2L motor has a much higher airflow than a litle "A" motor, and the venturi is much bigger than a hitachi carb.
thus the air through the booster venturi is gonna be slower.
