Gday everyone,
I was told this site is the best resource on the net for my Stanza Rally buildup by my mate ALLDAT who comes here quite often.
I've just started on the engine, trying to get it going. I know the site's 1200 but this is a 1600. It's so hard to get info so I thought here was my best solution.
Well great to be here and it's gonna be awesome talking to you all. Feel free to email if ya have any Stanza or rallying hints and tips hahaha.
Cheers,
Sean

You might get some bits and pieces but this is a 1200 site. Make sureyou use off topic forums related to non-1200 questions.
Theres a couple of club members who run an L-series...who can help but my question is why a Stanza they are alot heavier than a 1200 and in PRC you need to run the standard block which came out in the car.
I know of someone who can build a 1600cc capacity A Series from an A-12 block and you power to weight will be alot better too out of a 1200.

well the answer to that is pretty plain and simple, I picked up a 1 owner, no rust Stanza for $450. It needs a little engine work but it should make an excellent rally car.
Can't complain for $450, I did look at sunny's etc but decided this was the best deal.
It has the original block, etc so running it won't be a problem.

Of course, with a one owner rust free car, you could also build a really neat street driver & use some scabby rusted heap of **** for a racer. After all, it will be trash once you are finished with it in a year or two. Save the good ones for those who can appreciate them.
