the day came today when i decided to get off my ass and fix my godam car... not just fix, make it better!!!

My sunny is quite tired and looking in need of restoration so i decided that these would be a good start for it..
Reco the A15
hardend valve seats
bigger intake and exhaust valves
New carb (32/36)
5 speed
extractors
remove my excess rust
new springs
electronic igntion
and pretty much just clean EVERYTHING & get it in great working order...

The engine goes off on wednesday i think and im still looking for a 5speed around here and a set of extractors but when its finished hopefully there will be no more fart assing about for a while!!!

This is my first major project with a car and am looking to gain alot of experience from it and was just hoping to get some expert advice on little traps i most probably fall into etc!!
Most surley sounding like a newbie to the buisness here but jsut thought i should post this first before i embark on anything as words of wisdom would be great...

And as i think Dodgeman told me,
'this site is for everyone to share experiences and for others to shed light on those less knowledgeable!' i.e me!!

Cheers
Dave

The main piece of advice I would give you is not to rush anything. Take your time, and try and get all the jobs done as calmly as possible....you'll be amazed at how much easier everything will come together.

Good luck, and if you have any questions along the way.....let us know.
